Houseboat
A houseboat, in other words a house on the water, is used for recreational use or permanent residence. Recently, it has become a new lifestyle even in Slovakia, which appeals to people precisely because of the possibilities of its unique use.
Houseboats permanently moored near the shore predominate in Slovakia. Mooring is usually done using ropes, anchors and gangways.
From a structural point of view, it consists of a floating part – a pontoon and a residential part – a superstructure.
