Realization of houseboats
Houseboat Jarovce 10.7×12.1 – reconstruction
The reconstruction of the houseboat consisted in the extension of the terrace from the guide side and from the quayside, the replacement of the deck boards on the pontoon and the bridge, the extension of the existing bridge, the reconstruction of the electrical installation and the replacement of the gutter system. To expand the pontoon, it was also necessary to use new floats due to sufficient displacement. On the waterfront side, we used a steel float of a circular shape, and on the guide side, we used plastic floats filled with polystyrene, which resist frost. Due to the expansion of the pontoon, we also reconstructed the railing around the perimeter of the pontoon. Thanks to the extension of the bridge, the houseboat moved further from the shore, but due to the small depth of the water and the gradual sinking of the bottom, we were forced to remove the sediments or alluvium and thereby ensure sufficient depth.
